Looking for Leader for Ethics Discussion
At the Forum, I had a discussion with Don Dunnington of the IAOC about them hosting a blog week about Ethics. He was very interested in doing it. I am leading a blog week there in the next couple of weeks on new communications models (more on the timing when it is solidified). Given that, and some other pressing items on my agenda, I don't feel like I can take on the leadership of the week (although I will certainly participate in the discussion). Therefore, I am looking for a volunteer to lead the effort.
Basically, you'd be acting as editor, posting the first post, gathering other contributors (at least one for each day of the week), posing questions, and wrangling the details. I have some people interested in being contributors, but no one at this point to lead the effort.
If you are interested, please send me an email or volunteer via the comments below. The week would likely take place in March.

When is it? I just finished a 5000 word piece on blogging and ethics, so I'm already in this mindset.
My participation will be largely dependent on the timing of the event though...

Elizabeth, I'm very interested in the topic and would consider leading the discussion, although I haven't done anything quite like this online before.
My approach to the topic derives from my involvement in e-health ethics. I've learned that coming to consensus on ethical issues, even those potentially involving life and death, is no easy task. As I mentioned at the Forum, my ideal would be a "nutrition labelling" approach that would allow blogs to post a uniform template to give readers a quick understanding of their ethical standards.
Please contact me if you think I can be of help.
