I am looking for some data on how many journalists are using RSS feeds to get news. Can you point to any studies? Thanks!

Without providing numbers, PR Week in the UK discussed this topic recently -- http://www.prweek.com/uk/sectors/media/article/520744/the-future-news-really-simple/
Referenced in the article is a small Nooked study of 200 influencers that says 87 percent of journalists use RSS feeds -- http://blog.nooked.com/archives/2005/08/nooked_influenc.htm
But the survey was criticized as being self serving for Nooked -- http://tinyurl.com/af48p
