I wrote about blogs as foundational network-building tools. I have received some positive feedback recently about my use of the term "network-building" as the primary reason organizations should deploy blogs and other participatory communications tools, with people telling me that is a term they can take to their executives who are confused at best about the term BLOG and all the baggage it brings with it.
