Good post! Your point that social media can generate new relationships with shareholders is particularly important. Social media is a way to start a conversation with many, and keep the conversation going. Those who are interested will continue to follow and take part in the conversation.

Hi Elizabeth,

Just wanted to say that I've started reading your blog. I'm wondering if you have heard about the book, "What Men Don't Tell Women About Business". I heard the guy (Chris Flett) on the Today Show and thought you probably have already heard of him. I'm wondering what your thoughts were. He seems to be really taking on the 'Old Boys Club". I just emailed him, but haven't heard back.

Anyway, keep up the great writing.

Best,

Bihter.

Hi Elizabeth,

I've been doing some additional research on the author, Chris Flett, that I talked about on my last comment. His company is "GhostCEO" (www.GhostCEO.com) and his book is a bestseller. I found it on Amazon here. Anyway, he was in the NY Times last Sunday under the "Career Couch" and he makes reference to women's blogs like yours so I thought you might like to connect. I'd like to see you interview him and see what he's all about. I saw on another blog he was a guest blogger. His email is: [email protected]

Best wishes,

Bihter.

Hi Elizabeth,

I agree with your points about social media. I've found that I have made important connections via social networking that I may never have made otherwise.

I also read a blog by Beaupre PR & Co. that you might be interested in. They post many articles on social media, communications, pr, etc.. Check it out when you have a minute. The url is www.beaupre.com/blog.

Best regards,

Patti

Knowledge of the art of gentle persuasion is key for a business to attract more buyers. This is the concept behind attraction marketing, a new internet network marketing method that enables you to bring in customers in a more pleasant and streamlined manner. Prospects resist selling...the more you sell, the more people resist it. Attraction marketing is all about making buying interesting, comfortable and engaging the customers. Implementing the attraction marketing formula will allow your customers to get to know and trust you. Not only will you develop ongoing relationships with clients, but these clients will also bring in more business for you via referrals.
